This week in New York City is the Digital Music Forum East. This forum is chance for some of the music industries premiere Digital executives in one room for two days. I’m looking forward to attending and getting a chance to hear from these Senior Level Executives, and where Digital will be heading in 2010 and beyond.
There are some great panel discussions during the forum:
- Brands and Bands: How Brands Are Working with the Music Industry in the Digital Age?
- MOBILE APPS: What’s Next?
- The Digital Copyright Debate: What are the latest legal and policy developments? What needs to happen so that artists can live off their creativity, labels and publisher can see a fair return on their investments technology companies have an incentive to innovate and receive a fair share of the pie and music fans can satisfy their current hunger for and exploration of new and/or alternative music?
